DotConnect for Salesforce MC

dotConnect for ExactTarget is a collection of components for managing ExactTarget data directly from .NET applications. Developers can now work with ExactTarget data, as if they were connected to a database.

Connection to ExactTarget can be established from Visual Studio Server Explorer or from the code. To establish a connection you will have to provide your ExactTarget Login Url, User Id and Password. To manage the data, no ExactTarget API knowledge is required, as SQL statements are used to retrieve, update, delete or insert the data.

Even more complex queries can be used to manage the data, as they get split in parts, and the results are handled by local SQL engine, which additionally processes the returned data based on the query provided. ExactTarget data can be even bind to various components, such as data grids, by using smart tags.

dotConnect for ExactTarget consist of many design-time editors, which can be used to configure different aspects of the connection, and even to construct queries visually, eliminating the need for you to type any SQL code manually.

Support for enhanced Entity Framework interface is included as well, and there is also a visual designer for ORM models available within the package. If you experience any difficulties using the components, there is help and lots of samples also available with the installation.
